Wightman Summer Program -- We love camp!
Camp Wightman volunteers are an important part of our ministry. Volunteers participate in many ways including:
  • Summer Program -- Co-counsel in our high energy, active summer youth camp program for children and teens, ages 6 to 18. Work with summer staff to deliver an action-packed, fun, spirit-filled week! Please download and complete the Volunteer Application returning it to the Wightman Office; you will also need two references which can be downloaded here (please follow the instructions on the forms).

  • Medical Personnel -- Wightman is looking for volunteer medical personnel (RNs, MDs, PAs, EMTs, or Nurse Practitioners). We provide comfortable lodging, good food, and Christian fellowship. Contact Tom at 860.376.2179 for more information.

  • Thursday Crew -- Since the 1960s, every Thursday a dedicated group of folks have gathered at Wightman for fellowship and work. Tasks and work crews vary from week to week but might include: lawn mowing, gardening, plumbing, electrical work, painting, construction, and the list goes on. Think of the work you do around your house and multiply it times approximately 25 buildings and 250+ acres!

  • Work Days -- Church and family groups gather to lend their hands and hearts to the ministry preparing the site for winter or summer or clean-up from weather-related events  Our next work day is May 11, 2013, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Please contact the Wightman Office to register all participants interested in participating.
